Dave Szink Joins Green Dot Bioplastics as Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Green Dot Bioplastics, a leading developer and supplier of bioplastic materials for innovative, sustainable end-uses, is pleased to welcome Dave Szink as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Dave’s responsibilities include sales team leadership, accelerating Green Dot’s revenue and market share, development of new channels, and contributing to the company’s marketing and business strategies. Dave brings with him nearly 30 years of experience in the Film and Flexible Packaging Market.
Prior to joining Green Dot, Dave was at Earthfirst Films by Plastic Suppliers, Inc. where he led the development and sales of their biopolymer films into the Flexible Packaging Market. Additionally, Dave gained expertise while apart of the dynamic sales teams at Michelman, Inc., RKW Danfilms, and Charter (NEX Films).
“I am excited to assume this leadership role at Green Dot Bioplastics as the flexible packaging market is poised to move to more sustainable film offerings in the single use packaging segment,” said Dave Szink, VP, Sales & Marketing. “I believe that Green Dot can provide fully functional alternatives to the flexible packaging market without any sacrifice in performance and function. In addition to providing suitable alternatives, we are able to address the growing demand for more responsible packaging from both the consumer and the CPGs and brand owners.”
“Dave is an outstanding addition to our team at Green Dot,” said Mark Remmert, CEO. “His expertise in film and flexible packaging is key to launching our new category of compostable materials for the single-use packaging market. Dave brings a deep understanding of the benefits of bioplastics and compostables that brand owners and customers demand.”
